But I'm thinking of it as an investment in my personal safety, the bike's security, & my enjoyment, so it's all good.

Apparently there is a factory socket on the left behind the front side fairing thats for the spots Hey Stu, Is this socket accessible from under the seat or do you need to start removing fairing panels to get to it? I have an innate fear of removing fairing panels as my previous experiences in this...

There was nothing else in the box, but I'm hoping they will come back with something like that or a smaller unit. Everything is through emails so it's a slow process.
