Quick update as I received the crashbars. In hindsight I should have kept my ilium works order as the welding and powder coating quality looks rough. One of the plates was damaged, so I assume they will send me a new one. Some picture so you can see weld quality. I will update more after install.

Yes, I canceled my ilium works and will be installing these at half the price. I’ll have to see how the clamping to the silver frame for the swingarm will work. I hope it will not scratch or damage that.

I received my new to me 2023 Storm Black RT last Tuesday and put 300 miles on its since then. This bike is awesome. Looking forward to sharing experiences and learning from everyone here. My first bike was a K75RT, and I have ridden a VFR800, KTM 1290 SA, and most recently a Versys 1000 (great bike)...

T-rex crash bars

Hi I just received my new to me 2023 RT and I am looking at crash bars. I have Ilium on order, but found the T-rex bars. I was comparing mountain points, as I feel that more mountain points, prevent the bars to flex or move with a tip over or slow speed slide. Material wise, they both use 1 inch ste...
