Re: Compatible phone for the RT1250
Ok, they are not cheap, but they are what I know about, so any of the iPhones after and including the XR with wireless charging will fit and charge without a case in the space provided. I currently have the 14 pro max, and even it fits when you put it with the camera at the top and the screen face u...

Re: Quick Wales trip
Yep, a compressor and a repair kit are key components, even if they can just get you to a location you can wait more comfortable in

Re: Aftermarket seat for R1250RT/R1200RT
Still looking for one if anyone has decided to let one go - it would need to be a standard or high height - a low is no good.
Thanks
James

Re: Heated Seat
Only way to really check if it's working is pop a thermometer on it and see if its' actually heating up, but it does make sense what they say, although you would expect better from BMW

The other downside is using your own data, and having cables attached if riding all day. You also have some control of the inbuilt Nav while riding, at least you do on a K1600, but ...

Re: Phone compartment
I've got an iPhone pro max, I have to take the cover off and position it face up with the camera at the open end, it just fits like that and no more, so this is the maximum way to get a phone in

I don't have any experience of these, but for touring you want as light and cheap as possible for storage and carrying, and if in your garage it will not get any wear, so again, cheap and cheerful

Re: Throttle grip sleeve ?
