Yes, although I will say that the ones I was issued in 2003 were different to the ones I was issued in 2008. Having said that they’re equally as good in my opinion.
Re: SOCKS
I use the ones that I was issued by the Queen, when I went to those foreign countries that were very hot and sandy. Never had a problem in 40+ heat out there and they work as well in this country all year.

Re: What did you do today
In the dolomites with over 100 serving or retired police officers from all over Europe in temperatures of 28'. Had two days of riding around in a big group, haven't stopped at a red traffic light or junction as the Italian police were escorting us and stopped traffic! Sadly got a three day journey a...

Re: Off to France. GB or UK?
I've spent three days with the Italian police and they weren't bothered about the size of the UK sticker on my number plate. I think if you get stopped for it then it's a 'jobsworth' I've quite often seen vehicles in Europe without any country identifiers.

Re: Zumo XT arrived yay! Oh... what fresh hell is this Basecamp software?
I had the same problem with Basecamp, I watched loads of youtube videos on how to create routes. I tried them but failed. I was on the verge of giving up when I stumbled across one by a woman https://youtu.be/DWTcLFwd8-0 It’s just over 5 minutes long and explains everything, it’s so easy. This week ...

Re: Right turn signal lights not working
I have to agree with David, looks like a worn switch. My dealer, before he replaced it, did “fix it”. Don’t know what he did but worked for all of a couple of miles before it stopped working.
I fear the only way to resolve it is a replacement.

Re: Breakdown / Recovery Products (Which One)
I have one from my previous employer, pay monthly but I’ve got life insurance. Worldwide travel insurance, home emergency and a plethora of other things. Breakdown cover both UK and Europe covers both myself and my wife, £26 a month. I’ve had to use the breakdown when the clutch went n my car and it...

Re: how many ride all year?
I ride all year, both with my former, prior to retirement, employer, been riding when the snow has been horizontal, not a nice experience! Blood biker so the weather is not an excuse not to ride, unless it’s really bad then it’s usually a case of shopping tow wheels for four. The only pain is ensuri...
