£210 on extra mirrors
Still, if it works better for you, that's the only thing that matter.

What's this part for?
The black rubber bung near the rear brake disc.
I managed to pull it out in its entirety the other day. What does it do?

Re: OCD cleaning...!
And the OCD cleaning continues...! I took the pads out and cleaned up the rear wheel and calliper. I was impressed how easily the rear wheel came out. This is becoming slightly obsessive! http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/sullivj/1D277BFC-DC11-42D8-99C8-D76606A6D06B_zpswvzdajwe.jpg Re: OCD cle...

How many bikes do you own?!?
Sadly, I 'only' have 3. That picture was the showroom where I bought it.

Re: OCD cleaning...!
So tonight, the cleaning continued with the sump, timing cover and final drive. Once cleaned, I'm coating these parts with ACF 50. I use it on all my bikes as it's an excellent corrosion inhibitor. http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/sullivj/74E8A8A3-34B1-4C6A-AF6B-29C0797909A4_zpsd4hcvvfa.jpg R...

Timing Cover, Cover. Is it removeable?
Can the black plastic cover on the front of the engine be removed with the exhaust in situ? It looks like it's only 2 bolts to remove it?

Re: OCD cleaning...!
I took the end can off, but the rest was done in situ, laying on the garage floor. I'm pleased how well it came up though. I'm trying to do the difficult cleaning jobs first... It's the sump next :-(

OCD cleaning...!
So now the bike is home, I've started on the cleaning regime.. Today's job was to clean the rest of the exhaust and stands. That's one more job ticked off the list! Autosol and a micro fibre cloth. Then a wipe over with ACF50 before putting it back on.

Brake fluid leak!!
In their wisdom, the dealer who sold me the bike yesterday, overfilled the front resovior. When they put the lid back on, it squeezed some fluid out if the resovoir! So today's job was to syringe some fluid out, and properly clean up the area. I didn't fancy a ride in the rain, so instead I removed ...
