Re: Intercom recommendations

I went for the Interphone (urban) intercom. Connected to phone and bike Audio system with no problems, just need to try it on the road to see how easy it is to get on with. Thanks for everyone’s input.

Re: Worth phoning your insurance company...

I was quoted £500 for renewal on my RT, got same cover for £249. LV just said can’t match that, goodbye LV.

Intercom recommendations

I’m currently using a Schuberth helmet with the built in Cardo system. I’m having lots of problems with pairing to bike and Nav system and when I finally get it working as it should they soon stop working if I stop and disconnect. So any recommendations mainly used for nav instructions and listening...

I live about 30 minutes away, if you don’t get it sorted give me a shout and I’ll nip round for a brew, try your charger on mine and my optimate on yours. Any excuse for a ride out 🏍

Re: Spec me up some accessories

+1 for the Avant extender. I have a R + G headlamp protector which fits with the sticky nylon Velcro type fittings which make it easy to remove fir cleaning.
I went fir the Wunderlich crash bars on my 1250.

Re: Spec me up some accessories

Front fender extender
Rear pillion infill panels
Headlamp protector
Small tank bag
Engine crash bars
Central locking for Sat nav
Final drive crash bung
Brake pedal enlarger

Should keep you busy for a while.

Re: 1250 Fuel consumption

I’m obviously not riding too enthusiastically as I’m getting 56 MPG as opposed to 60 - 61 on the older model. Must try harder.

Re: 1250 Fuel consumption

I think my 1250 is doing 4-5 MPG less than my previous 1200. But it could be that i am riding it more enthusiastically. Plus it’s not fully run in yet either.

Re: RP4 GTs - just 400 miles

I felt the same way and was about to swap mine, but after about 600 miles they seemed to transform and really came on song. Would probably got Metzeler roadtecs next but am in no hurry any longer to swap them.

Go into Settings and find Dashboard. Select the one with four boxes across the bottom then press each one to select what it shows you.

Re: Engine crash bars with aux lights

I have the Wunderlich bars on my 1250RT and my original aux light brackets are relocated to fit onto a lug on the crash bars. The Wunderlich bars fit where the oem light brackets fit to the bike. Wunderlich instructions are pretty poor and it takes a bit of working out, but end results are really wo...
