I think the hole is supposed to be open, its there to warn you of impeding seal failure. When you see fluid coming from the hole, break out the wallet. Only experience with water pumps was on the K1100 where you could get oil or water or both depending which seal(s) had gone AWOL.

Hi All, does anyone have the torque values for the front and rear calipers on a 2007 Hex Head ( Non servo brakes model)? I was going to do a quick fluid change but notice the bleed nipple is concentric with banjo so probably need to shim the pistons back to remove the bulk of the fluid, w...
