Re: New RT Clutch Lever/Clutch Adjustments
To get back to your original question BlueRT although the only adjustment is on the lever there may be other issues. I found the clutch on mine difficult at first as it seemed to have very little movement between engaged and disengaged, resulting in a couple of embarrassing stalls. It still catches ...

Re: Trident and Garmin
Can't agree with that. I never carry maps or study a route in advance. Just press go and hope for the best. Far more fun. But then you miss all the fun you would have had on the detours to the interesting places you find on a map. Still that reminds me a bit of Columbu...

Re: 2014 LC Final Drive Boot Hole
Had the bike in for service and BMW have been asked to consider if its a manufacturing defect. The tech believes that there may have been issues with damage caused to the boot by the joint in the past but not at this point. There may also be an issue with the clutch so it booked in for examination n...

Correct!
There's no way mine works with any throttle on.
Could be exciting to try?

Re: Topcase lock jammed
I had the same problem with a topbox on an F800. I'd trapped a glove in one of the side catches which put pressure on the locking mechanism so that the lock barrel could not rotate. After a lot of pushing on the lid to relieve the pressure it finally opened.

Re: 2014 LC Final Drive Boot Hole
There's no split in the boot but it does seem to be a manufacturing defect as if the rubber is very thin in that spot. I don't see how its been pierced as its pretty much protected by the panniers and body work. I am concerned about water and dirt ingress but all should be revealed in the workshop o...

2014 LC Final Drive Boot Hole
I gave my 2014 LC a clean this afternoon and while I was drying it off I noticed a small (5 mm) hole in the top of the Final Drive rubber boot. It is uneven in shape and seems to be a fault in the material. There is no sign of impact and the bike has not been in any collisions. I have not ...

I have a 660 mounted in the built in cradle on my RT LC. It powers up with the ignition, there's no need to remove it to switch on.

Re: RT Meet at Tewkesbury - 08/07/17
I have ridden some of the country on David's route and there are lots of spots either on or very close to it which are well worth a visit, so here are a few suggestions you may want to take up. It depends how much time you have. A slight deviation around the A44 south of Evesham will bring you to Br...

Re: Air Vests
If you get off the bike, and forget to detach yourself, will it set the air vest off? If so, I can well imagine I would do that! it takes a really hard tug to fire the cartridge - such as you and the bike departing in opposite directions. As you try to step away from the bike you will soon realise ...
