rt 2013 headlight bulbs
hi all, Just returned from a great ride down to the French Alps but have managed to blow both headlight bulbs on route. Only carried one spare, so not a disaster, just a pain as well as the "challenge faced" changing them.Any recommendations for longer lasting brands that actually do last ...

Re: tyre life
Thanks all for thoughts/advice, bit the bullet and putting new on. If I was going on my own, I would have run them out but, with the good lady on the back, it's kinda wrong to risk it.
Still a bit unclear about what mileage a are being had out of the pr4 GTs though

help, please I off to the French Alps which is around 2200 miles round trip. I run pr4gt on my twin cam. I have just under 3mm on the front and just over 3mm on the back. Both tyres look fine and I'm after opinions as to whether they will last or should I change. Hate wasting rubber! They have done a...

Re: My 1st ride home...!
Congrats on the new bike. At risk of upsetting the lc boys, I think you got the best model! I have had a shock fail but not till around 30k. Am assuming you are adjusting it when you are stopped and it is on the side stand. If you have it on single rider, see how easy it is to touch the floor, then ...

Re: Tank bag choices for 2013 RT
Just got one of these from Amazon for my 2013 rt.
motec ion. Comes from Germany. Smaller than the bmw one and only £100! Tank lid a bit tight when fully open on mounting ring but don't see it being a problem

Nearly repeating the route I took last year in September Hook of Holland to a little place just outside verdun, down through the vosages and on to the east of Grenoble. Pick up the now famous Alps route. Stop in briancon for a couple of days doing the passes to the south which by the way are very ni...

I use Bennetts and have had no problems. I had to make lots of changes during the early part of the policy and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. It will be interesting to see what happens when my renewal is due

Love iriders answer! But in truth, I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys touring with the wife because I get to share the great experiences. Oh and unfortunately I have to slum it in more upmarket hotels! One thing I have found is that she stands on the left peg to get on and over time it starts ...

Re: Garmin 390LM query
I struggle with the amount of time spent sitting around waiting for my old 550 to update but, It has done and still does everything I want when touring. I don't want to be looking at the split screens all the time, I want it to point me in the right direction and enjoy the scenery. I am also sad eno...

Re: NEC motorcycle show
Helmet city. I was going to buy a borialis 2015 and tried it on but was unsure. That was 330. I went back later to find it had gone in my size, so tried the 2016 model on. They wanted 360, still a good deal but as I was unsure, they crunched the calculator and were kind enough to let me have it for ...
