Re: Grip Puppies

I've used these on my other bikes with heated grips.
The foam is only about 5mm thick so they do reduce the heat slightly,  but i find the max heat setting to be too hot for me anyway.

Grip Puppies

Fitted some to my RTLC as i found the grips just a bit narrow for my XL hands.

Easy to fit and very comfortable, and they take the edge of the vibration at high speed.

Re: 2014 R1200RT Accelerator Module

Ah yes.. Its a little gizmo that plugs into the bikes Air Temp Sensor. That fools the ECU into thinking that the ambient air temp. is 20c lower than it actually is. Modern BMWs tend to run quite lean, due to EC fuel regs. Therefor the AC Mod. makes the fueling run a bit richer, which gives a bit mor...

2014 R1200RT Accelerator Module

Just got one of these to test on my RTLC, so as soon as i figure out how to remove the off-side fairing panels, i'll be fitting it and...er..testing it. Anyone else fitted one to their RTLC yet? I've previously used these on my 2009 and 2013 GSA's, with good results. So in the interest of science, e...

RTLC Audio output to rider and passenger (without BMW helmets)

For those wanting to hook-up the BMW audio system to both rider and passenger, but don’t have the BMW system 6 helmets systems. There is a solution........get the Scala Rider G9x teamset intercom (other makes like the Sena S20 etc. might also work, but I’ve only tested the G9x) 1. Pair the main hea...

Re: RT LC Aux LED lights power supply....where is it??

Its OK thanks Maz.
I bit the bullet and got Bmw to sort it for me today. Thay had to remove the left side fairing panels to get to the socket.
Took about 45mins, including the recoding.
They only charged me £25, so im happy with that.
