Re: Riding position advice
Being relax with your shoulders drop and arms slightly bent. Make sure your grip on the handle bars is like holding a budgie .... not too tight and not to firm. If you find when riding your head is starting to drop into your shoulders. Sit upright and relax so it feels like your neck is being extend...

Re: Motorcycle lifts
i only had the beam on my Big Blue, so rang the company and took advice on what I needed to lift the RT. Another off topic question, what made you change from a Trophy to the RT, what differences have you found. Test rode a Trophy before I bought the RT, but always liked them. Casbar the trophy was...

Re: Motorcycle lifts
You need the large peg attachment and will need to modify the front pad so it fits between the pipes, either by a bit of angle grinder action or a wooden block of some kind. I also need to get a wheel chock as you can't lift whilst the bike is on the centre stand as its in the way. Thanks for the a...

Went with the high seat, gives that bit more padding and still allows my feet to be planted firmly.

Re: Motorcycle lifts
Have the big blue lift which I used on my Trophy SE before PX and purchasing RT LE.
Haven't checked to see if the current fitting can be used on the new bike.

Re: Just bought an Iconic .... Lots of questions coming
The Iconic is only an Iconic because of its paint job and that had an option of 1. They were full spec less keyless but with a matching top box. Correct but other factors were also taken into account at the time. Couldn't understand why BMW didn't fully spec these bike with all the extra ...

Re: Hill Assist
So whats wrong with the Hendon shuffle and applying the rear brake? Just a thought, consider we should be ready to "go" just in case we need to move, so we don't get shunted from behind with the brake electronically applied. Find it a useful bit of kit but ..... old habits and all that stu...

Re: Air Vests
Problem we will have for blood biking is - We ride different bikes, so guess will need mounting lanyards on all bikes, plus we have to wear the blood bike jackets, so the vest will have to go underneath. Spoke to Helite who say you can wear it underneath a jacket but you should up size the jacket. ...

Re: It's here!
I didn't know the engine was going to be black and I agree, it looks amazing. :enjoying: Complete co-incidence of course but I went out today and bought a yellow flourescent bomber jacket to go over my Rukka jacket (my existing one was red and getting a bit ratty). On my first ride with it I couldn...

Thanks
