The way I do it is set the SatNav to "Fastest route, Avoid tolls"
Better roads, usually running parallel to the motorways, and doesn't cost anything.

Try getting your TFT software updated, you may find things run a lot better.

Independents can register/create an account with BMW on their Aftersales Online System, https://aos.bmwgroup.com/web/oss/start Once they have done that, they can login to record the work they have done on to the BMW system. I would guess not as I asked him earlier in the year whether he could perform the TFT software updates and the answer was "No".

Three months is a ridiculous length of time to have to wait, especially for a renewal.
