And to stop you going back and trying to claim for workshop damages that were already there.

Re: Electronic payment on French toll roads

The way I do it is set the SatNav to "Fastest route, Avoid tolls"
Better roads, usually running parallel to the motorways, and doesn't cost anything.

An application could be refused if the photo is not correct, what's £16 in the cost of a holiday.
An online application will tell you whether the photo is acceptable before you submit it.

Independents can register/create an account with BMW on their Aftersales Online System, https://aos.bmwgroup.com/web/oss/start Once they have done that, they can login to record the work they have done on to the BMW system. Not sure that this is the same as being able to download software updates. ...

Re: Balkans - June 2023. Advice & tips please!

Hi all. We are planning a trip to the Balkans in June next year. Plan to be away for about 3 weeks. We are thinking of motorway (or equivalent) routes down to roughly Villach (Austrian / Croatia / Slovenia border intersection). From there we thought about heading into Slovenia - Lake Bled; Ljubljan...

David. wrote: Fri Nov 18, 2022 10:55 am Hi Russell, do you know if Paul at The Workshop can log into the BMW Motorrad system to record what work he did on your bike.
I would guess not as I asked him earlier in the year whether he could perform the TFT software updates and the answer was "No".

Re: UK Passport delay problems

Three months is a ridiculous length of time to have to wait, especially for a renewal.
I renewed mine at the beginning of this year and I think it took about a fortnight to receive my new passport.

Re: Trickle charging

Good Morning, Many thanks all, I'll order a cable for the bike. Cheers Optimates come with all the cables required I'm already happily using C-Tek on my classics and partners Triumph Street Triple, I'd rather not change. Ahh, OK, sorry, I thought you were new to the concept of trickle charging :)

Re: Oxford Rainseal over trousers

Strangely enough I have been through the same process. I bought the Oxfords first for my Eastern European trip earlier this year. I had exactly the same issues, particularly with the zip, what a pain in the arse. They pissed me off so much that I eventually took a knife to them to remove them whilst...

Sorry, I can't give any recommendations, but I can give an avoidance. Do not stop at the Crown Hotel in Corwen, what a sh*thole!!! (from experience).
