Well if it's anything like a standard parking fine the warden will have taken photo's of it, which you should be able to see online.burridge01 wrote: Well going on that and i said it was parked on a private driveway in Walton Court, what proof would they have it wasn't.

Re: Off to France. GB or UK?
Hahaha,Ditto that, I got pulled over last year, purely a random check in the middle of the countryside. All they did was look at the rear number plate, with these UK stickers attached, and waved me on, no issues whatsoever.Casbar wrote:

Re: Zumo entry point takes me round the block and home again
This is a good idea except I was in a strange town in the tiny back streets so I needed the route to the main road, and then a heading in the right direction. Sent from my GM1903 using Tapatalk That's OK, when you start the SatNav simply tell it to go to the first waypoint and it will work out the ...

Re: Zumo entry point takes me round the block and home again
Potatan, do not have the same start and finish point, it's a quirk of the Zumo's that they think you have already finished before you've started, which I suppose logically, to a SatNav, you have :-)
Simply start your route about a mile from your actual start point and then things should work fine.

Re: 1250RT LE - Mobile phone compatibility with TFT
I read that you stated you have no navigation am i right in saying that the new TFT screen does not have navigation installed ? whats the point of the large screen then ? There is NO navigation installed on the bike. The navigation comes from the BMW Connected app which is installed on your phone b...

Re: 1250RT LE - Mobile phone compatibility with TFT
IMHO the Samsung S10 is a good phone anyway so just use it as your everyday phone and bike phone or at the least get a cheap sim card on a PAYG Peronally I'd agree with this. If you have a phone solely for navigation then you can't make/recieve calls. This is not something that I make a habit of do...

I have a Samsung S20 and it works fine, only issue is it won't wireless charge if it has its protective case on.

This makes interesting reading, BMW R1200RT and R1250RT Tyre Guide - Best Touring Tyres (twotyres.co.uk) "Even though some tyre manufacturers make heavyweight tyres (called things like GT and HWM) the RT doesn’t need these tyre versions. Contrary to the myth; fitting a heavyweight rear tyre is...

Re: rear brake pads 1200 2007
One question i have is why is one pad thicker than the other?. I've contacted EBC and they inform me i have the correct pads but the person couldn't explain why one is thinner than the other. Do you know why? I've no idea why, but if that is the case surely they have to be handed. Seems strange to ...

Re: BMW STREET GUARD body armour replacement
I've just taken the plunge and ordered a set for my jacket and a set for my trousers from the German site that I linked above. All in, including postage, around £60. I had a bit of a Google and from what I can see I shouldn't be hit with any extra costs upon delivery.

Re: BMW STREET GUARD body armour replacement
This eBay site looks like it may be the same stuff. Certainly level 2 and about half the price. Not sure if you would get clobbered with extra's when it came into the country.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293969786283 ... SwjQRfEHkX

I haven't tried it yet because I'm trying to find a cheaper source but apparently the Sas-Tec Phantom as being sold by Motolegends gets a very good review. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjnt7Tl__n0AhUCQEEAHacnB...
