I wouldnt wear a "scooter" helmet either I have been using Shoei for 15 years now but really grudge the cost...... a new Neotc with intercom... £600  >:(

My RT is white, my clothing and helmet are dark..... what I have noticed recently is when I catch up with a car, I drive mostly on country roads, they drive in the gutter / verge and kick up all sorts of crap with their tyres!!!  I dont know if they think I am police or they just are helpin...

Thanks Levisp, I would prefer to wear gloves than using muffs but just cant find the right ones. I did try mitts years ago but couldnt get on with them.... I insured my Triumph Tiger, few years back, with Bikesure who are a part of Adrian Flux, declared the K&N filter & the Beowulf end can..... no charge.

Thanks for the feedback, food for thought.... I just hate trying on stuff, lost count of the number of trousers i tried before I found my Oxford suit which fits but doesnt keep water out or wind into the trousers  :(  I like the look of the Rukka gear...... Think I will need to get...

On my 2020 it appears to be for economy, not sure of the parameters used but similar to my wife's car. If your light on the throttle it suggests shifting up. I switched mine off, found it distracting having an orange light / symbol appearing on the dash...... as with you, I know when to shift

Wee run up to the Glenfinnan Viaduct (Harry Potter fame) and back. 300 mile round trip for me, stopped in Gen Coe on the way back, clouds were touching the mountains so very dramatic.
