Re: How many RT LC owners actually have problems / issues?
I have emailed the dealer about bubbling paint on the shaft and their answer was: Please check for other areas as we can only submit a corrosion claim once. With this sort of thing we cannot point it out. It has to be pointed out by you. It sounds odd for me that it's my responsibility to tell them ...

Re: How many RT LC owners actually have problems / issues?
Thanks all for your replies. I will raise that with my dealer. I wonder with what they'll come up for an answer, got a feeling that they'll try not to do anything about it.

When you talk about bubbling, do you mean like that?

Re: 2014 RT LC Service cost?.
I have had my 18k miles service done a month ago. Cost: £153. Just the oil change from what I can see on the invoice.
But absolutely not happy with the service and reliability of the bike. I have made a comment about that here: Re: How many RT LC owners actually have problems / issues?

Re: How many RT LC owners actually have problems / issues?
Hello, sorry for digging up such an old topic, but at least here you can see previous problems with my bike. Unfortunately there were/are more issues. It's a lengthy post, so here's outline: 1. Unprofessional mechanic - screwed screw 2. Corroded muffler 3. Squeaky flap in exhaust (2nd one) 4. Front ...

Re: How many RT LC owners actually have problems / issues?
the locker exchanges and the foot peg exchange I would have thought could have been fixes with s bit of grease and a new rubber seal I've tried with copper grease, but worked only for few days. I don't expect myself to do such a thing every week on something that's still almost new. I think your bi...

Re: How many RT LC owners actually have problems / issues?
I think I'm unlucky. 17 months, 16k miles and so far: - RHS switch replaced - ignition button was sticking - LHS switch replaced - favourite button was sticking - RHS glove box replaced - leaking - LHS glove box replaced - loud central locking - Gear Shift Assist Pro sensor replaced - was told it h...

Re: Latest K1600
I had the new K1600GT Sport for a couple of days while my RT was being serviced under warranty. After returning it I said to the dealer, that it's a very fast hoover. It really sounded like on, however at high speeds was quieter than RT. It had 1300 miles on the clock, and the windshield got stuck i...

Re: MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 GT
I'd ask the dealer to re-examine the tyre, but more importantly, get them to confirm that your front suspension is all satis, plus the wheel bearings. Don't be fobbed off by the dealer. If needs be, go to another dealer elsewhere for a second opinion. If you say that your bike handles okay, then it...

Re: MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 GT
Tyre pressures normal. Handling okay? Nothing abnormal experienced when riding in straight line or round bends at various speeds (despite the abnormal wear on the front tyre)? Have you experienced this before with Michelin PR3/PR4 or any other brand tyre on the RT? What sort of riding do you do on ...

Re: MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 GT
I think I've got a problem with my front tyre. Please see attached photo.
It's a Pilot Road 4 GT with something like 5k miles on it and I don't like how it wears off.
I've been at BMW dealer and was told that it's because of the roundabouts and weight of the bike.
Could I ask for your opinions?

Re: S-vol settings
I know that much. My question was about specific settings. There are 3 levels of that. Can one change at what speed how much the volume will increase? For example:
Level 1 - 30 mph
Level 2 - 50 mph
Level 3 - 70 mph?
