Re: 2023 Active Cruise Control Question
... you can normally adjust the distance in which to keep from the vehicle in front ... ... and the active cruise may keep you further back than you need/want to be Think this is a good summary:-) You have 3 levels of adjustment on the RT system, distant, more distant and a long way back - well in ...

If you are looking for a franchise dealer there is BMW Motorrad Westerly Exeter (newly opened) and I believe there will be one opened in Taunton soon-ish! Peter

Re: 2021 Nav system alternate.
As I don't have the fabrication skills of Excellence :-) I contacted Frank at FMS Solutions mentioned above. Got a very helpful reply and have an FMS RFI Shield on the way to the UK. The FMS Website does not allow you to complete international purchases and I had a problem with the contact form. How...

Re: 2021 Nav system alternate.
Just to add to the thread, picked up my 2022 R1250RT fitted with a Wunderlich base holder for original Navigator - black - Part No. 21170-702 and I'm getting the "Lost Satellite Signal". Had time to play with it today, The Navi has lost its location 4 out of 5 times over three days. The sa...

Re: Can you buy a base model R 1250 RT?
If you are looking for new definitely worth calling a dealer. I wanted an "LE" but that model had disappeared from the UK configurator, called my dealer and they confirmed "can't be ordered right now". However, they found exactly the colour/spec I wanted within BMW UK and had it ...

Re: Loud OEM exhaust on '22 RT
If the flap wax stuck on a 22reg then you would have a warning light on the dash, the older models didn't do this but all the new 1250rts will. Yes that is a good point and if it is a 22 reg just call/take it back to the dealer. The flapper valve failed at 23 months on my 2019 R1250RT and you could...

Re: Speedometer accuracy 2021 R1250RT
Generally speaking the speedos I have had on BMWs over the last 10 years have got more accurate, my first K1600GT over read and at 70mph true GPS they would show 75 - roughly speaking, my R1200RT was similar. However my K1300S was much more optimistic:-) showing at least 10% over! ...

Think mine had that too, probably some "H&S insurance" for the bag falling off, never used it, never had the bag come undone:-) Peter

I tend to use something smaller like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Givi-ST602-Spo ... B01BDXGLL4 however you can get larger sizes and "Tanklock" system seems quite good. Peter

Can't remember if it worked on my 1200 or not, I don't think it did, but I'm sure someone will correct me soon if it does! If it does not show it and it is supposed to work it will most likely a dealer tweak to get the mod done (I guess:-() Peter
