Re: Blind spot mirrors ... Yay or nay?
I noticed that after fitting the 1" bar risers on my 11 RT the mirrors are far more usable :) I've got some of the adjustable 'blind spot mirrors' on my old works van and don't trust them one bit! I still end up peering to the side after looking in them just in case ...

I've got the OEM one and it is a good tank bag (if a little large), Givi offer a good range of bags with their Tanklock system which would possibly be more suitable to your needs? Plus you'll get a 'new' one without spending much more than the cost of a 'used' OEM.

Re: fairing touch-up, respray small job
I've used these before and their colour was a good match to the original paint on the bike, I didn't use their primer or clearcoat as I preferred a more well known brand, but their colour was spot on with just the right amount of metallic in it.

Re: FAREWELL
One of the main reasons I have stick with BMW insurance is because I know if the worse happens it will be repaired by a BMW dealer. I have seen many bikes that have been sent through what the trade call an approved repairer and I for sure would not ride them. Sent from my iPad u...

Re: Rear Racks the same? 2009-2013 vs. 2014-2017?
The Shad top box looks like a reasonable piece of kit to me, Especially as it comes without the BMW over priced cost ;) I like the idea of the 'expandable' SH58 as it fits in with the looks of the bike too! I might have gone that route not having a Givi Maxia 56 already, which al...

Re: Winter Maintenance List
I am here to say EBC will be gone in half the miles the OEM went. So what did you gain? Half price, change twice as often, does not make sense. Run what you like and it has nothing to do with brand loyalty. It has to do with longevity, fitment with no worries, and corr...

Re: Winter Maintenance List
Look up Double H and they tell you they are designed for heavy cruisers. I would advise anyone considering them to look up the price of replacement discs and them reconsidered. Also note from your previous posts you have no recommended tyres on. Wonder what oil you use. I'm not ...

Re: Winter Maintenance List
Once bought some EBC front pads for a 2007 RT, fitted them, they were useless, threw them away. On this subject, I agree, fit OEM brake pads. I've fitted EBC Double H sintered pads on my 11rt with no issues whatsoever? Just as good as OEM pads (IMO) without the 'Branding' price tag, Don't tell anyo...

Re: MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 GT
Just had PR4's (not 'GT's)in a case of a 'needs must situation') fitted on my 11 RT, Will they be ok for the next 12 months? not looking at massive mileage!3 to 5k possibly, Just wondering? as they fit in the weight category of 73 =365kg
