The one up near the headstock - I picked up the adapter for £10 and used that....yep, engine started, Zumo didn't power up, so no power.

Re: Power lead routing.
I did the job today, piece of cake, even the power supply plug was easy to find. The only problem is, it doesn't supply any power! >:( Oh dear, more investigation to do, I think. My Garmin is an old Zumo 400 with current Euro maps, it works beautifully with Tourstart. If I can't work out w...

Re: Panel torx screws - Is there a rhyme or reason for the different shank lengths?
When I had my 1200ST - fewer panels and screws, but still quite a few different ones - I started off with the best of intentions when I first stripped the plastics off by pushing the screws into a sheet of cardboard with the condensed shape of the bike sketched onto it....ingenious eh, no chance of ...

Power lead routing.
My RT has the Wunderlich GPS mount above the instruments, with a powered mount for a Garmin unit fitted to it. Routing the power cable is proving to be a bit of a tester! I don't really want to use the slots that the power screen arms move up and down in, and don't really want to dismantle most of t...

Re: Am I missing something....?
Duty First - thanks for the reply. A local dealer has a couple of similar-vintage RTs in, I'll go and have a look at them too. I ordered the parts shown in Boxflyer's reply, no doubt I'll have to dismantle half the bike to fit them! Boxflyer - thanks again. Everything in that area seems fine....if a...

Re: Am I missing something....?
Evening chaps, and thanks for the replies. :) My previous bike, owned for 7 years, was a 1200ST. When I first went to view this RT, my eyes were immediately drawn to the area I've highlighted....it didn't look 'right', as if some sort of sleeve/cover was missing. It didn't put me off buyin...

Am I missing something....?
Evening all.
I'd be grateful if someone could take a look at the top of their hexhead RT's forks for me, and then tell me if something's missing from mine! I've attached a pic with the area of concern highlighted! - to me, it looks as if there's a cover/cap gone astray from each leg.

Re: Anyone tried an AC Schnitzer silencer?
They're a re-branded Remus HexaCone, that's all. I had the Schnitzer one on my K1200R-Sport a few years ago - the only reason I bought it was because I got a deal on it as I bought the Schnitzer bellypan at the same time from https://shop.rossiters.co.uk/ The 'exclusivity' of the name was nice thoug...

New member saying 'hello'....
Afternoon all. I've just signed up, so thought I'd say hello to everyone. :) My 1200ST that I'd owned for 7 years was written off in France back in May, after an accident - very sad, the bike was in beautiful condition, I loved it to bits! :( I bought an ST1300 Pan European to re...
