Re: Cylindrical connector plug for deluxe top case?
@timminator What a shame, oh well. Your info gave me a new thing to search for, the plug and socket used for the top box connection are the same as the diagnostic connector, thanks for that. As you noted there are adapter cables from the BMW 10 pin diagnostic connector to the standard ODBII connecto...

Re: New owner
As far as I'm aware, having the brake system service fully and following the BMW stipulated procedure on an annual basis should see it continue to work well. I think it's a time consuming job with a fair amount of disassembly, so people neglect to do it thoroughly and that's where the issues stem fr...

Re: Cylindrical connector plug for deluxe top case?
My idea was to purchase the same BMW plug and socket you are asking about so that I could make all the connections in a short adaptor lead ( :Pplug one end socket the other) and so avoid cutting into my 1 week old loom. Two years later and I am still looking :P The system was stolen from the K1600G...

Cylindrical connector plug for deluxe top case?
I have a 2014 RT1200RT with central locking, it has the cylindrical electrical socket under the pillion seat for connecting the deluxe top box with lights and central locking. I've bought a Givi V56 Maxia 4 top box and I'd like to buy the cylindrical plug that is used on the OEM deluxe top box, or p...

Re: Power take off socket.
Here in Australia, an electronics hobby chain Jaycar have those plugs and sockets and adapters to the normal cigarette lighter plug at low prices.
It's called a Powerlet or Merit plug/socket.

Re: Which bluetooth?
I bought an Interphone Sport (not the Tour as I mistakenly put previously) and have been pleased with how it works.
I'm using it to get directions from my BMW Navigator V, it also plays the audio from the bike's audio system, but music sound quality is quite tinny and not worth listening to.

Yes, it's a good little bag, but I can't fit the camera gear I'd like to into it.Casbar wrote: I've just fitted the Motech daypack, fits great and will have enough space for my needs

SW-Motech Quick-Lock Evo Sport tank bag questions
Hello there, I'm a new member from Australia. I've had my secondhand R1200RT Water-cooled (2014) since October 2016. I bought and fitted an SW-Motech Quick-Lock Evo Daypack tankbag, but it's smaller than I expected, and smaller than what I'm used to. Does anyone here have the larger SW-Mot...
