Starter button problems

Advice please. My 64 RT now has 54k miles, the starter button is having intermittent moments when nothing happens, no click and no engagement of the starter motor. At the moment after various numbers of attempts the starter will engage and the bike will start. Other times no problem at all, it will ...

Re: IAM Advanced Rider Training - Observed Ride #2

On our way into town. If we agree that on entering a built up area with a 30mph speed limit in force we should be travelling at 30 mph, good. So, 50 mtrs inside the speed limit there is a hand held speed camera we should not be prosecuted for speeding as our speed is correct.  ;) On our wa...

It seems that I've misunderstood your 'As always, comments and observations welcomed'

Hopefully you will soon realise just how much you have to learn. Good luck with that.

Re: IAM Advanced Rider Training - Observed Ride #2

Hi B2TB I am curious as to why you went out on the bike to talk about things that had nothing to do with what you were doing on your bike at the time. Unfortunately, this in turn, detracted from you riding safely. Your speeds were erratic for the types of road(s) you were using. We should always av...

Bar Risers on LC

Has anyone fitted the Wunderlich bar risers to their bike?
I'm thinking I need a bit of a lift from the handlebars and maybe some rearward movement too.
I believe that there is a reasonable lift from the risers but not too much additional movement to the rear.
Anyone used them?

Fitting the rear camera on the rear red reflector is an MOT failure I'm afraid, and could also attract an observant traffic officer.... :( :(

Re: Power Source on LC

Hi, I've discovered that when tapping into the o/s power socket (beneath the throttle so to speak) for a power source for a camera, when the socket is used for the Optimate charger, this seems to activate the power to the camera!! This means that the camera will now run constantly when charger is p...

Re: New 2018 RT what would you like to see ??

What would I change on the bike? The screen could be a bit larger. The front mudguard could be a bit longer. Adjustable handlebars. On the left bar the rotating wheel would be better on the other side of the light switch cluster, allowing easier access to main beam, indicato...

Re: New 2018 RT what would you like to see ??

What would I change on the bike? The screen could be a bit larger. The front mudguard could do with being a bit longer to protect the front engine cover. On the left hand bar the rotating wheel control should be on the other side of the light switch cluster, to allow fingers...
