Re: Riders seat comfort & footpegs - 2014 RT LC?

Have you considered bar risers, should make you sit up and back a bit more, give you a better leg stretch too. I am having similar discomfort, not so much bum ache more crunched up shoulders and sitting up against the tank. I've experienced sitting on the bike at steady speed with cruise on, simply...

Re: USB power source

The sat nav loom sounds ideal ItsOnlyMe, do you use Pozi Tap to tap into the sat nav loom, and how many wires are there, two or three, as there are three wires on camera?

Re: Power Source on LC

Correct Paggers, on and off with ignition would be best option. I have been investigating and on the n/s behind the pull off panel, (once unscrewed of course) I have found an electrical connection which is blanked off and in a clip, the three wire colours are; brown, purple, and red /blue, alongsid...

Barry
I'm pleased that you feel fitting them was worth the effort, it's always that little bit that makes all the difference.
I agree, I wouldn't pay hundreds for them either.
Enjoy, catch up soon,

Take care

Re: Some RT things to sell for current model

Hi Barry,
No problem, I'm interested in how much of an improvement they make to you.
I am 5'9' and feel like I need just a little lift and closer reach of the bars at times.
I also seem to sit quite far forward on the seat and no where near the seat hump.

Re: Goretex gloves

I thought I would try something different this winter. I bought a pair of Sealskinz Extreme Cold Weather gloves, used them on one occasion of a two hour motorway hike home in torrential rain, my hands stayed completely dry.  I did try a few miles without the heated grips and my hands were ...

Thanks all, it seems we agree, plenty clean water and maybe some soap. Think I shall invest in a V sponge, it has good reports.
Take care.

Keeping visors clean inside and out

Having just replaced a couple of visors. What is recommended for keeping clean the anti mist surface without scratching it? I used Rain X for the outside on previous visors, but see some unmovable marks on the inside from whatever I used to wipe it with, and I was being careful. For the time being ...
