Re: Anyone know What this LED is

Apparently it is on one of the components in the ballast lead of the HID, to prove the ballst is getting power.

Re: Anyone know What this LED is

If wired through a switched +ve, it would only light green with the engine running and orange/red with ignition on but not running. Don't see why it would be hidden though. Only lights when engine running. Nothing at any other time. I'll ask the HID supplier tomorrow if there any LED's on anything ...

Re: Anyone know What this LED is

Metal bracket hold sthe LED spotlights. Denali Auxiliary Light Mounting Kit for BMW R1200RT '05-'13, bought from Twisted throttle. Don't think ballasts have an LED on them and as I say they are mounted higher up.

Anyone know What this LED is

Had my 2012 Camhead R1200RT for about a year and just spotted this LED today. Only comes on when engine is running. I have just fitted HID but the ballsts are mounted higher behind the speaker grilles.[attachimg=1]

Re: BMW Insurance in UK

when people need to make a claim the repairs are always by a BMW workshop and you get none of the (Approved workshop) hassle. That's one of the main bits I wanted to know. I had to claim through Bennetts a couple of years ago after someone knocked over my Honda and drove off. . When I wouldn't use ...

BMW Insurance in UK

Has anyone had any problems with BMW Insurance UK. They've come up with a decent quote but how do they treat you if things go wrong?

Re: Stebel replacement horn

2012RT I tried to fit the Stebel Nautilus today but couldn't get anything on the original horn screw to undo it. I took the side fairings off but still couldn't get anything on it. I've given up for today,  but any suggestions? So far I've tried: 1/4" drive ratchet with torx bit Torx ...

Re: Brake pedal adjustment

I need to raise the brake pedal on a 2012 rt.
It doesn't look to be much adjustment.  There's a stop screw near front of the pedal and the rod to the cylinder.  Would that give me around half inch adjustment at pedal end?

Re: Tank bag choices for 2013 RT

Has anyone tried a Givi Tanklock bag on a 2012?
I already have the bag, thinking of getting a universal tankring and putting spacers undr it to bring it up to above the tank rails.
