Re: Michelin Pilot Road 2

That tyre has circa 4k on it already and as you can see loads left on it,
Don't recommend the road 5 as it was proven to be to soft and gave crap mileage, I only got 4k on a rear Road 5 on my RT

Re: Tyre Sealant

Don't use it Mike as it can also knacke the PSI sensor. Use normal roadside puncture plugs as a temporary repair, Sim had a puncture in Spain 2 yrs ago in his front tyre and the temporary repair lasted him approx 18 months and about 2k miles haha

Road 6's are the future lol, new tyres new technology, been on now for a few thousand miles and wearing really well, plus surprise the sport bike riders in the corners. Even GS rider gets his pegs down on them,

Re: Security whilst touring.

Xena alarmed disc lock on the front and rear, then some cheeky sh1t chains a GS to it ( of all things) If they want to cut of 2 Xena alarmed disc locks and a chain then fair play they've worked hard and can have it. Only down side is they will leave the GS....

Re: R1250RT TFT Navigation - Optimizing Map Startup Time

On my RT button 4 is pre programmed for map mode but I did find providing the connected App permission over all apps when in use on my Samsung did and does help a quick connection. It sometimes takes a little longer after the bike has been shut down for a while but petrol stops or quick coffee break...
