My car won't start
Remote start that is. 2010 Cadi CTS, 2016 RT When the bike is within 50 feet of the car, none of the buttons on the car's remote work. This is intermittent, but very consistent at this point. I won't list all the troubleshooting steps I've done, but the car's remote never fails unless it is near the...

Re: Helmet to bike and(?) GPS
One aspect of the SRC that I painfully became aware of is when you download new software you must then run the Reset Pairing procedure. Without doing so, I lost the bike's radio even though the SRC was still paired and successfully(?) re-paired to the bike. Although I figured it needed to be done, I...

Re: Radar Dector Wiring
Tapped into the Powerlet wire for +12; used the fairing strap for ground. Made a cradle for the Helmet Assisted Radar Detection helmet display transmitter and taped that to the power connector for the V1. The detector mount is an old Spider that I could not find on their website. Longer Allen bolts ...

‘Chris on the Street’ has a collection of YouTube videos that are quite informative. The Bluetooth one, suggested above by trickstecop, gives an very thorough overview and is a great primer. https://youtu.be/M_qK1zzhh-A For the nuts and bolts of how to actually accomplish his setup I found these 2, ...

Re: Helmet to bike and(?) GPS
First let me say that after tasting other RT related forums, this is the best. OK. Please correct/confirm the following: Phones, GPS, etc. are nowhere in the vicinity. Mine is paired to Audio as Helmet 1 Wife's as Helmet 2 My helmet gets paired to Navigator V not necessarily with it mounted to the b...

Helmet to bike and(?) GPS
I need to link my Bluetooth helmet to the audio system, but I also have a Navigator V. Do I just link my helmet to the bike or do I have to link to the GPS also?

Re: Radar Dector Wiring
That sounds logical. My search for answers found there is an unused power connector on the left side. I am going to try to find that and just run wire to the right side (via CAN-BUS GPS/Gadget Power Pigtail part #83300413585) where the mount is installed. If I cannot locate that connector, I am goin...

Radar Dector Wiring
Where should I hardwire my Valentine 1? Directly to the battery, tap the Power Socket wire, tap a parking light wire (did this on my FJR)?
