Hi Moonie and welcome always nice to know that one of us has got a bargain, great news. The bike handles well in the wet depending on tires and rider ability, but thinking about it and Michigan weather, keep it nice and dry in a warm room and just look and admire it and the Spring will soon come

I actually find it difficult to get the satnav out of the cubbyhole it's in, the amount of times I have nearly dropped it is quite a few. I never leave my satnav on the bike unless it's coming in doors. However, Steinar I am sure that some deterrent [size=78%]is better than no deterrent. They do say...

I have a 2014 model don't bother with YouTube go test one to see if you like it not somebody else. Other than that there are some great reviews out there Cycle World, Paul Dean, etc

Yeah Smiley they sited the Capirossi incident as setting the presidence, but SA is a spoilt kid with a serious issue  >:D IMHO.

I suppose the box width has a part to play in my issue with these boxes, but it's not all of it. The width is not really my issue as I have rear protection bars, it's the loading even with my inner bags there is always fiddly tucking and squeezing to finally close the lids gggggrrrrrrrrr! drives me ...

Thanks Levisp yes the French use a grit not sure if it's a salt? I have a couple of big jobs to do around the field which is my priority at the moment.
