Just replaced my rear brake pads with EBC HH pad. I know BMW recommends standard sintered pads on the rear but i like the feedback from the HH pads. The functions is built-in. If you look through YT there are a couple of tutorials of how to stop the strobing. You will need to unsolder 2 contacts.

Thanks for the input. I still think i will go down the handguard route. Never got on with handlebar Muffs. Tried them for a week when i was a London dispatch rider in the early 80's and hated them.
