BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum

According to the latest brochure, on page 7, ' Note for 2016 all BMW R1200RT models will come with drivetrain and chassis in Black'. I also haven't seen one yet, it's gonna be nice though!

I wonder whether the lights can be programed, since on my GTL the auxiliary LEDs used to have to be switched on each ride, after a service the software update reversed that to default ON. I love the new angel eyes and wouldn't be happy if they were not on with the aux lights. The purpose of the head...

I digress slightly but what would a good K1 be worth now, more than I just got for my GTL I'll bet.

Generally I agree with the previous views on ESA but comfort on a quick bendy Road can get a bit wallowy,  I  often use normal but rarely sport.

I don't think it is officially called the Triple Black, the salesman gave some thought and decided it would look good so ordered another two. Took my GTLE  down today and said goodbye, in dynamic mode it's a great bike to ride if not to own.

Just ordered a triple black with matching topbox and a high level brakelight, needless to say I think it looks cool!
