Torque values.

Hi,

Does anyone have a list of torque settings for the 1250 RT ? Doesn't seem to be an official BMW workshop repair manual or a Haynes one in the UK.
So any info would be helpful.

Thanks

I know most will say they like the colour it is. But if you wanted a colour change, which colour.

Road 5s

Hi all, Anyone used Road 5s on a 1250 RT ? If so how did you like them and most importantly what mileage did you get ? My RT had them on when I bought it seems like it had a new pair on about 6,500 miles ago, a new front fitted before I bought it and the same rear, which I reckon has done about 8,50...

The only other way I found they came off was whilst escorting the German chancellor from RAF Northolt into central London and I got a bit close to an oncoming vehicle’s door mirror which knocked the back off mine :-D

sounds like fun :-D

Fold mirror in then pull the exposed section of the mirror back inline/parallel to the line of the glass. I find a quick jerk works better than a long pull!
That seems straight forward, thank you.

Not backwards or you could break the 3 retaining hooks.
There is also a string that stops you losing the cover.
Thanks for taking the time to reply mate 8-)

Re: Best seat cover

Is there a consensus about the best long distance saddle cover.? On my last two Mexico trips I was on an ST1300 with a comfy Sargeant saddle. My biggest complaint is that after a long day ride my man unit felt like it had been ground up in a metate. I mean, the RT saddle seems big, wide and comfy, b...
