It may not be the cruise switch

It maybe your clutch switch so have a look at that too

Ah you're talking about a mount

I am talking about an adaptor that allows you to mount most sat navs to the nav prep and take its power from there

Personally if it was me I would buy a standalone sat nav like the Garmin or TomTom

There will be plenty of people along soon enough to tell you of the issues of the expensive BMW Nav range and why to avoid it

You should be able to remove the mount and fit a different sat nav there
