Re: Remap for an R1250RT - any experience??

While I don't have any experience with Hillltop or any of their products there was a time a few years ago in a K1600 FB group of which I was a member, when a lot people were raving about this Hilltop remap for the K1600 that was all singing and dancing, did the ironing etc, so a lot more people had ...

No experience with any of the above but I have been bothered for years about the fact that if you buy a helmet and it's noisier that you'd like, what can you do about it? Shouldn't they have a small wind tunnel at the shop you can stick your head in?

Re: What did you do today?

I counted the dead insects on the screen. Lost count after 160. 2 were on top of each other. The underneath one was still wiggling its legs. Thought sorry for it so squashed it. I also checked the engine oil. Didn't use a drop. Not bad as i was traveling most of the time between 90/100mph 8-) excep...

Re: New 1250 RT LE

Congratulations on your new bike! I have no tips other than what your manual will tell you. I have only had two brand new bikes and there were in the early 80's, strangely enough I found the rusted, dented tank from one of them in my dads shed a couple of weeks ago.

Re: WindShield Washers & Battery Strap

A quick couple of questions. Cleaning up my new to me R1250 2019 I took the screen off. It is the BMW original standard screen. I noticed that it looks like the previous owner has over tightened the screws as three of the holes have stress cracks 😳 so new screen incoming I guess. The question is ar...

Just don't forget to install the windscreen wipers 🤣
Dry is the real reason I wanted one - I had a GL1800 a few years back that the previous owner had installed a manually operated wiper! Typical that you want rid or your screen after I buy a new one ;)

Re: Vstream Z2350on 2014+

I had the Wunderlich Marathon arrive today, fitted and a quick spin out and I agree about the distortion but I can put up with it for the way it keeps the airflow off my shoulders. The big test will be how much rain it diverts around me. I bought the bike with the silly sports screen that diverts al...

We were snapped by some geezer in Wales last week or maybe the week before, I think it was somewhere near the Horseshoe pass and that Ponderosa place which we stumbled upon by accident but we didn't stop.
