Hastings mayday run
Met up with a few mates at locksbottom and headed down to Hastings on the A21 yesterday for the mayday run, what a day, absolutely fantastic day out, stopped at the Route 66 cafe on route, any other day we would’ve stayed there for the afternoon, great music and atmosphere. Hastings was on another l...

Re: Cardo Pack Talk
I don’t have the packtalk but smartpack.
I’ve had all sorts of issues trying to get the thing to work properly, the latest upgrade has sorted the issues out and now works better than it ever has.

Re: Back and shoulder pains
Have a horrible feeling it’s probably arthritis, runs in the family and I’m just hitting 57 so I’m in that age group now, find out once the doc receives the X-ray results

Re: Back and shoulder pains
Visit to the docs yesterday and X-rays taken on back and shoulder last night.
Physio is the next port of call.
Was tempted to swap the bike over to the car for the ferry booking but it’s totally booked now

Re: Back and shoulder pains
I haven’t, no.
The RT isn’t a new bike to me, but riding 150-200 miles a day is causing me problems, I wasn’t planning on doing that everyday in Spain but there are days where I intended to cover that distance, not being able to ride the following day will be a issue

Cardo smartpack
I bought the cardo smartpack about a yr ago, had nothing but issues with it. Tried persevering with it but boy does it frustrate me. For the life of me I can’t connect a second Bluetooth device such as a satnav, when I try it disconnects the first device, being my phone. Downloaded the latest softwa...

Re: Common Motorbike Accident Scenarios
The scenario with the car driver doing a u turn happened to me, no indication or warning at all with what he intended to do, as far as I was aware he was just another car parked up, next thing I was taking involuntary flying lessons over his bonnet. No amount of training or experience would have alt...

Re: European breakdown cover
Thanks for all the replies.
I’m swaying towards the Bmw warranty and emergency service, pricey I must admit, but having peace of mind is worth it.
Thanks again

Re: European breakdown cover
When you say Bmw rescue are you talking about the insured emergency service and warranty they provide ?
I have looked at that, but didn’t think they covered personal injury ?

I'm currently in La Rochelle, and this is the first trip I've used the tag, no hiccups at all.
