Re: DWA alarm light
I have the same yr model as you, and I'm fairly confident mine doesn't do that, if it did, I'm sure I would have noticed.

Re: Getting her on
She isn't large and quite agile for her yrs, trouble is she's clumsy !
I can just see her size sevens hitting everything before she's got her leg over !

Getting her on
This has probably been asked before, but how do you get a 50yr old female on the pillion seat with top box and panniers in place ??
I've read elsewhere that the side stand will take the weight whilst she clambers aboard, anyone tried this ?

Re: Smell of hot oil
It's all topped up now, added 200ml to bring the level up, so it wasnt a problem and not low enough for the warning light to come on

Re: Smell of hot oil
Frogger, if you do check the air box lets us know what you find.
My oil level was just on the lower edge of the sight glass so for me it isn't the oil level, saying that I had a ride out today and had no issues with oil smells at all !

Re: Smell of hot oil
I have a similar smell, no leaks or obvious ones, no drips on the exhaust. If you do a search on the web it seems others suffer the same issue

Re: Newbie saying hello
I hope so too, I'm thinking of taking out a warranty for piece of mind.
I'm located in Ashford Kent, so, if there are any fellow bike nuts nearby that fancy meeting up, or a ride out then l'd be pleased to hear from you.
