Re: Gearchange Assist
It does seem that (a) we have differing expectations or (b) different bikes behave differently or (c) some of us are clots.
I suspect it's (c) and I put myself firmly in that category.

Re: NAV 5 Pairing !
Pairing Sena and Nav 5 has also been painless for me. My trouble starts when I try to add a mobile phone to the mix. Then it becomes hit or miss. Mostly miss.

Re: Here we go - 1250 Calliper issues
Yes, I need to send donor seats to California where they rebuild the seat from the original pan. It's not a cheap option but I've tried the rest and RDL is the best by a country mile (in my opinion). I'm probably the biking equivalent of the princess that can't sleep with a pea under her mattress, a...

Re: Gearchange Assist
I know this is an old topic but am I alone in thinking that Gear Shift Assist is a poor solution to a problem that never existed. I've had it on two R1200s (most recent was a 2017) and found it a huge disappointment. Yes I can work around its foibles but as often as not it's simply easier and smooth...

Re: Here we go - 1250 Calliper issues
Brave or foolhardy, maybe both but I must confess to being impulsive. I'm currently fighting the urge to upgrade the seats to RDLs, and I think I'm losing that battle too...

Re: Here we go - 1250 Calliper issues
My dealer has now had my bike longer than me, I'm on my third courtesy bike, eventually got one that is OK but now no time to ride it :'( . If my dealers had not sold the bike I traded in I would by now have rejected the purchase and be back on that I feel your pain. I went through the de...

If those seats are by Russell Cycle Products, and they're not to your taste, I'd be pleased to buy them from you.

Re: Nautilus Stebel install. YouTube or similar
Thanks for confirming re relay bandytales. That's that horn out for me, I fitted one years ago when I was commuting through London daily, I always "felt" that there was a short delay between pressing the button and the horn sounding. That's when I started wearing flip up helmets, I always...

Re: 1250RT rear rack
Any updates on the clearance between the Avant fender extender and the new aerofoils mounted on the 1250 engine? Alternatively has anybody tried removing the aerofoils? They appear to be fitted to brackets that are secured with small bolts. Any update would be welcome, as my bike is on order and I'd...

Thanks iRider & Casbar. I have ROSPA already and the regime doesn't seem at all unreasonable, so I'll contact my local group when I return (from Spain) to Yorkshire. Thanks again.
