Ok then, Quartz Blue fastest, bronze being dropped for being to slow
I'm fine with that as I did not buy my RT to imitate Mr. Rossi - not that I could anyway. I simply like the colour and now that I've had the top box sprayed to match it looks the dogs do dahs.

BMW Jeans
I bought these from A chap on the Boxertrix forum last month and they are great jeans BUT are just too big for me. I am 6 foot tall, have a 35 waist and a 33 inside leg. They are just too baggy for me so I am offering them to anyone for exactly the same price that I paid for them. The original adver...

Re: R1200RT vs R1200RS
As my wife would be enjoying the back seat, I took her along when I tried both the RS and the RT. We both voted for the extra comfort of the RT.

Re: New RT Colours
It says that Platinum Bronze Metallic is discontinued. Mine is that colour and naturally, I like it. Now a collectors item? A vain thought.

Good work.
For people in the north, I can suggest www.farroutpaintwork.co.uk who are based in Congleton. They resprayed the bellypan on my BMW R1100S Boxer Cup Replica and made a nice job of it.

As with the rubber grommets, should part of the fairing really be held in place with Velcro? Mine comes loose quite often so I am exploring an alternative.

Re: Bodywork screws
I lost some fairing bolts, so I bought some spares from Rainbow BMW in Rotherham. Martin and the other guys in the parts department are first class. If they say that you will get it by Friday then you can guarantee that it will be there by then.
Prices were sensible as well.

Paggers, I bought the black cylinder guards from Nippy Norman, worth the money and will hide your damage.

Paggers, I think you and I are not too far from each other as I use some of those roads as well. Unlucky on the drop but I've had it happen to me with a previous bike.

Might I suggest AL = Actually Laughing, since you found out how good it is . Whilst LBL could be Left Blumming Little since you've spent the kids inheritance.

Re: BLUETOOTH HEADSET ADVICE
Like you, I am not a fan of Bluetooth, so I bought the Autocom Pro kit fir our helmets. If you don't mind the cable connection it's great and it avoids all the battery packs and Control boxes on the side of your helmet. Sound quality is very good. Under £300.

Re: Help on paint colour
Wow, looks good. Sorry I did not get back to you sooner as I only got back yesterday from nearly three weeks away for work. Funnily enough, I just went into the garage to take a photo of the paint and then I saw that you had managed it anyway. Just for fun, what was the paint code you used? ...
