Just a quick note , had my annual service carried out at The Workshop in York , very professional service all with no affect on your BMW warranty would recommend them to all BMW owners up north , also the big issue !!!!! a hell of a lot cheaper than main dealers .

Has anyone purchased bar risers from China ? One company are making them for £21.00 thats a hell of a difference to Wunderlich / Illium Works. Any info is most welcome.

Never heard of that over here in England , i would have a good test ride before you choose !!!!! then you are sure if the riding position suits your own needs before you fork out your hard earned cash . Quality parts to adjust bars and footrests are not cheap !!!!!!

Never ride with full beam on during daylight , only on very dark country roads at night will i use full beam .

So that tells you that BMW engineers do not listen to their customers , after all £17,000 for a motorcycle is not cheap !!!!!

Lately i find that after an hour or so on the bike my neck and back ache , thinking about fitting a riser kit and lower pegs has anyone invested in these on their own BMW RT ? any advice is welcome.

i looked at a GW but the thought of manoeuvring it around put me off that said its a great machine .I own a 2019 RTLE shift cam for weather protection
reliability etc its the best i,ve had .

Welcome the forum one thing i would fit is a headlight protector well worth it.

Vertu Boldon gave me that qoute , my service book states 12,000 mile or one year for next service from last one which is October 22.I never informed Vertu that my bike has only 8300 mile as i automatically thought they would carry out a 12,000 mile service being the third one .

My RTLE is running out of warranty in December 22 only done 8300 miles , just been qouted £450 for a 12000 mile service from BMW dealership , i take it all dealership costs are the same ? dunno if i should seek an independent service company to save my coppers and then ponder to take out extended wa...
