Re: How cold

I have ridden in temperatures down to -10.  As long as I can fit the key into the lock, and turn it, she has never failed to start.

For information, usually she is sitting outside behind a locked gate so frozen locks are always a distinct possibility.

Re: Frozen Windscreen

I never wait for it to clear (I look over the screen - even on the highest setting.)

As long as you can get the key in the lock & it turns (and the roads are safe) you are good to go.

Such as yourself filtering (white lining) through the traffic!

In Belgium (different country different rules I know!)  it is the standard here that bikes have their hazards on while white lining it.

For myself, it is only when I use Chrome and then it is 100% of the time.
The other browsers 0%!
Go figure.

I use our cable provider, Telenet, as an ISP

Re: Wired / Wireless intercom?

Thanks for the comments,  they are all useful. For myself the biggest issues I have with wireless are: Battery life, after a couple of years it runs out of juice quite quickly. Always needing to recharge It is not always 100% reliable Volume is rarely good enough at motorway speeds I do no...

Wired / Wireless intercom?

Good morning, The time has come to consider replacing my aging Sena SMH10.  While it has given significantly better performance than the Scala Rider G4, the battery life is not what it used to be, and it is not connecting always nicely with my GPS. (I think it has more to do with the dispa...

As with everyone, thanks for keeping it open.

The server move went without issue (other than having to log on again!)

Re: Luxembourg speeding ticket ... 12kph over

Speeding ticket? I would pay up, if it were a parking ticket then ignore it. We received a parking ticket in Germany, and they never chased us. If they have your details, depending on the agreement they might be able to assign baliff's to teh case.  (They do that in the Netherlands to Belg...

Re: Which Sena model to get?

I have the SMH10 (really old model so don't go with it!) My experiences with Scala Rider & Sena: I had the Card Scala Rider G4, and had no end of trouble with it.  It spent more time in the shop being replaced / updated etc than attached.  I know some people have good experien...
