Re: Nautilus Horn fitting problems

Hi, just re-read Sprintgull post. It's weird how his problem was fouling the brake lines but clearing the forks and my problem was the opposite.
Isn't life grand?

Re: Nautilus Horn fitting problems

Hi, not so good in the end. New Nautilus was same size if not a fraction bigger, in places, than my original horn. So I have contacted NN for return, fingers crossed. I have fitted my original Nautilus, as I had completed the re-wire prior to fitting the horn thinking that a "proper" brack...

Re: Nautilus Horn fitting problems

Sprintgull, thanks for that. The latest Nautilus is slightly smaller than my one so I've ordered that with fingers crossed. I'll fit the one I have to wifey's CB1000R. The other problem is that the horn "plug and play" plug does not fit my bike plug. Luckily I had an old horn wiring kit fr...

Nautilus Horn fitting problems

Hello, decided to buy the Nippy Norman's Nautilus fitting bracket. After fitting the bracket on my 2018 1200 the horn just touches, about 4mm movement, on both forks.
Has anyone used this bracket successfully.
My Nautilus is about 10years old so it could be that the newer ones are slimmer.
Thanks
:)

Re: Screens Again!

Pete, I had a simikar problem with the "sports" screen on my 2018 1200. My pillion also found it uncomfortable due to the extra turbulence. A replacement "standard" screen from BMW Motorrad was £300. I found an almost new one on ebay for about £60. Bargain and it solved our probl...

Re: Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart

I fancied trying the Battlax T31s. A friend found taht they didn't "square" off like the PR4s did.
As for warranty, no  problems as they are supllied and fitted by my local BMW dealer.

Combining routes on Mapsource

I received a .gpx route and on opening in ms found 4 individual routes shown. I could view them all to see any overlapping and could select individual routes for more detail. Question: how can I combine 2 different routes into ms so that I can see them as individual routes but both are shown on the ...

Re: PMR Radio interference

Graham, thanks,
That's presumably what the Autocomm lead does when I use their battery eliminator.
Still working on it.
SWMBO has just bought a new bike so I'm now in the process of stripping out tyhe autocom, satnav and Innovv camera.
No peace for the wicked, :)

Re: PMR Radio interference

Thnaks for your replies.
Graham, I'm using a separate power feed for the radios. I'm now going to try using the old Kenwood battery eliminator as the power supply.
Beemerboy, Ill give chainspeed a ring before I start "playing" with other supplies.
Thanks again guys
:)
