Re: TPMS query

My Aussie 2014 liquid cooled is in PSI. The did tell me a few options need to be changed by the workshop, but I don't think they explained the TPM readout. It is explained in the owner's manual. If you do not have one, they are available on line (PM me if you can't find it and I will email it to yo...

Re: iPhone mount for 2016 R1200RT

Alternatively, what about a Telferizer? Not a Ram style mount, but I have had really good luck with the iOttie Easy One Touch 3 which I got at Amazon.  The phone holder is SOLIDLY on my bike.  I mounted it on the flat spot just forward of the fuel filler port. It does not interfer...

Re: Bike' XM radio not as good as using Iphone as source

I constantly swap back and forth as I ride in many places on roads where there are no cell signals for my AT&T phone. I certainly wish there were a better solution. I used to sell the wired audio systems called AUTOCOM! No bluetooth matches it but the convenience of wireless has become too comp...

Re: Latest iTunes and MP3 export

Has anyone mastered exporting their iTunes library into MP3 format onto USB that the RT will recognize?  I'm not having good luck....any help (or a video) would be great! Open the USB on your desktop. Then open any folder on the desktop and do a search for "music."  That...

Re: 2016 R1200RT Mini USB cord

I picked up my new R1200RT on saturday and when the guy was flying through the features he got to the USB plug in the glove box on the right side of the gas tank and he said something about I should buy the BMW mini USB cord for me to take advantage of this. From what I understand this mini USB is ...

Re: R1200 RT Drive line failures

Be interesting to know which Phantom and Buccaneer bearings you are talking about Hodge. For those out there who are puzzled by the names which Hodgie is refering to, they are McDonnel Douglas Phantom and Blackburn Buccaneer, ie aircraft and not some far eastern motorcycle. My Intruder was the same...

Re: Clearwater Erica lights on a 2015 R1200RT

Question for the group... Do Clearwater lights mounted under the mirrors overpower the turn signals?  I do not see anything in the CANopener info that says the light turns off if the turn signal is used (unlike the Hexezcan controller).

Re: New 2016 R1200RT report and questions

My experience is that BMW clutches are normally set to fully function in the first third, but certainly the first half of the handle engagement. HDs seem to be the opposite.
