Re: Fitting a Rowe PDM60??

Excuse my crude circuit diagram but you should get the idea from it. Parts: Rapid Electronics: 1. Enclosure Part No: 30-0505 2. Rubber Sleeves 03-1605 3. Relay 51-0665 4. Sockets 20-1096 (x6) (1A each, you can use bigger if required),these are quite pricey and can be replaced with a screw terminal b...

Re: Fitting a Rowe PDM60??

If anyone is interested, I built a relay box for this purpose, a small ABS enclosure with a 60A automotive relay and 4 output sockets. The box sits nicely behind the rear light assy and I took the pilot signal from the aux socket (soldered), took a couple of hours to make but works very well and onl...

Re: TOP CASE DISASSEMBLY

The mechanisms are actuated by a rack and pinion type system, with the pinion on the handle and rack sticking through the case. Re: TOP CASE DISASSEMBLY

From memory (I only did it three weeks ago) they are not Bowden cables, they are steel bands about half inch wide. I didn't actually pay much attention to the mechanism as I was only after the lock barrel; from what I saw there shouldn't be much to go wrong that isn't easily repairable.

Re: TOP CASE DISASSEMBLY

I took mine apart to rekey the lock. The rivets do not need to be removed to take out the inner shell.

Basically remove every screw you can see plus the nuts under the handle and the inner shell will come out.

Re: 'No USB' message

I doubt it is the USB version causing you a problem, as they should all be cross compatible. For formats NTFS is a proprietary Microsoft format and the only system that offers native support for it is Windows. Stick to FAT32. My guess would be the bikes computer can only address a certain amount of ...

Afternoon All, 29 and based in the (currently) sunshine state of Essex UK. I took the plunge this weekend and swapped my MT09-Tracer for a 2011 R1200, have to admit I was a bit apprehensive but after a few days I am very glad I did it as the Yam was starting to get on my nerves. I just wanted to say...
