Re: Any one tried a SHAD top box?
The Shad top box has finally arrived - the delay was due to the coloured lid I ordered not being in stock. It was really well packed and seems to be excellent quality. I have taken some pics to show the colour match between the Shad lid and the OEM blue of the panniers, not too bad at all I think. I...

Re: Hello All
Nice one, felt exactly the same way ! BTW do you have a top box fitted, my other half used to keep falling asleep and only the top box saved me from losing her! Seriously though, with it fitted she could sit back and we didn't have that problem.

Re: Windscreen
Can I just ask you both how tall you are - I am 6'0 tall with 33" inseam and like to ride with my visor open if possible. Can you really ride with the quiet ride windscreen lower than stock and is it as quiet as claimed. Is there any advantage to the 26", I don't particularly like looking ...

Re: Weather protection
Just had the chance to ride today with the additional weather protection fitted, it was 2 degrees and raining with salt all over the roads. Have posted some before and after pics and as you can see, the parts are very effective - bottom of the bike is filthy but my legs and boots were absolutely cle...

Re: Any one tried a SHAD top box?
Found a pic on here posted by Omnione of a shad box fitted to his bike - it sits quite a bit further back than OEM - too far to offer support for a pillion?

Any one tried a SHAD top box?
Found this on Google, seems excellent value and is sold in the UK by Suttons - just wondered if anyone has any experience of this brand?

Re: RT Lc comfort screen - anyone got one?
So what was the answer, did you have a comfort screen as standard? I'm asking cus I was thinking of ordering one and if you have two now I may be interested.
If you have been sent the wrong one then I will avoid the said dealer in Germany!

Re: Humble Pie - Large Slice Please...
Forgot it did that, but it only just touches. It's the bit you put your foot on that touches. I worked it out it was a bit of roughness on it and a file then a touch of black paint as good as fixed it. As it's just black plastic and the stand covers any mark when it's up I didn't bother about it. D...

Re: Humble Pie - Large Slice Please...
Cheers RTman - these things are good to know before starting! I will report back - BTW whilst I was at the dealer picking the parts up, I had a chat with a mechanic about fitting all this. He said that when he fitted it all, the moment he pushed the bike off the centre stand, the stand its...

Re: Humble Pie - Large Slice Please...
Brilliant, thanks Swe/RT - off out into the garage right now to clean the bike after a very wet ride and then fit this kit to see what difference it makes for next time!
