So did a longer trip today and have to say that the seat performed really well and I am happy with it - could it be more comfortable? Probably, but for £130 and the level of comfort I feel its a worthwhile purchase.

If you buy one you will do more miles as riding these bikes in rubbish weather is no great issue so I would recommend you getting one, as for low mileage ones for sale then I have to agree with the previous statement that they are brought by people as expensive toys. More comfortable seat would be great, decent cubby with power for phone, a decent universal Bluetooth system  - actually the less they change the better as I can justify keeping mine for another couple of years if they don't make any changes!!
