Hmmm went to the dark side and test rode gs 1300. Loved it. Did find shaft housing catching heel. Rapid and wind protection good on top half. Apparently recall on top case and panniers on back order.
Then went for ride, lots of flooded roads and snow around Longleat.

Had my shaft replaced on 64,000 miles. Washed bike yesterday and as drying noticed missed a bit on shaft so ran a damp cloth over it and felt water running out of shaft. the drain rubber is missing from hole presume pushed up into shaft. As above, use brembo pads from non Bring More Wonger supplier. Also they are red and everyone knows red brakes are better.

I use graphite oil as it's liquid form. Grease / WD40 will work but collect dirt and block again.we use graphite oil at work on locks for that reason.
