High seat

Does anyone / has anyone ever had or used a high seat for an RT? I have a 2009RT and I had a knee replaced in 2018. Prior to this I had fitted a peg lowering kit because the lack of movement in my knee led to discomfort after about half an hour on the bike. Since the operation the range of motion ha...

Re: Question :- can anyone please tell me how to switch off my headlights ?

On my 2009 RT I pull the plug out of the cluster, it is really easy to do. (I have to do this because there is a fault on the ZFE which leaves the side lights on)

Re: Indicator Issue

If you have a GS-911 you can have a look and see if there is a fault with the left switch. Hazards are supposed to come on if you press both buttons together (which is why there is a triangle on each side next to the buttons)

Re: Passenger seat heater wont turn off

The switch for the passenger seat is under the passenger seat. It is a 2 position rocker switch on the right hand side. If you take the seat off it is very easy to find.

Re: Parking lights stay on

An update...sometimes they do go off with the key as they are supposed to, only for them to come back on a few minutes later. I have a second hand ZFE which I will attempt to swap in, sounds like a software nightmare though.

Parking lights stay on

Has anyone come across this, my parking lights stay on after the keys are out. If I don't unplug the headlamp cluster they will eventually flatten the battery (after a few days). I have had the tank off and metered the output from the ZFE, the appropriate pin is live all the time. GS-911 does not re...

Re: New Owner with questions on Lights

I fitted some LEDs which someone on here recommended, I took them out again about 3 weeks later because I was fed up of dazzling oncoming traffic (I would not like it) The problem with LED in a conventional reflector is that the LED usually has multiple sources spaced away from the position the refl...

Re: Rukka gear

I need to send my jacket back because the coating on the main zip has cracked open, also the little zips which hold the inner jacket in are a bit soft and the tails are coming off. One thing I don't like about my jacket is the inner jacket is lined with a fleecy material, which means in hangs up on ...

Re: 1200RT sidelights stay on

I tried this before I thought about it (unfortunately). The sidelights are supposed to come on when the ignition is switched on, with the headlights only sparking up when the engine is running.

Does anyone know what sort of lubricant I can shove in the ignition? it is a bit stiff now . Ooops

Hi, thanks for the reply, no it is not that function, they do it anyway, and are always on while the headlamps are plugged in.

1200RT sidelights stay on

Hello all, first post and all that. I have a 2009 1200RT. When I switch the ignition off the sidelight (running lights whatever you call them, the little 5W jobs next to the headlights) remain on. I had a couple of flat batteries before I realised what was happening, now I have taken to unplugging t...
