Re: OEM LED LIGHTS
I worked a bunch of motorcycle accidents in my 37 years of Law Enforcement here in North Carolina. Only one was the fault of the motorcyclist, alcohol and speed were the root causes of that one. The first words out of the driver of the car is always "I never saw him". Get as much light as ...

Re: How Many Use A Camera When Riding
I have used a GOPro for a while. I use the suction cup mount on the left side of the bike on the fairing. Tried it on the windshield but there was too much vibration. I have not had any issues with it taking a tumble while attached to the side panel. I dont use it often, only for special rides. It i...

Re: Weather protection

Re: Weather protection
IVe checked with my dealer in Asheville and they cant get the parts. Its on their list but there are no prices and Austin says they cant.
I expect we will have to have them shipped from the UK if we really want them.

My dealer here in the US, Eurosports in Asheville NC says they cant get them in the US. If I want them Ill have to purchase in Europe and have them shipped. That may be cost prohibitive but I will be checking.

Re: Pannier modification
Thats a great idea, I may velcro my tire plugger kit and small pump in one of those spaces. I had them in the tail section of my 2012 but there is no room in the 2014.

Re: Weather protection
Thanks, Ann and I are headed for a big trip this summer and these may be a really good option. If she is dry she is happy and in turn I will be as well. I think these, a VStream windshield, crash bars, and bar risers will be all we need for the trip. This has been a very interesting site for me. I h...

Re: Handle Bar Risers
I understand that Iluim Works will send you the special tool and refund it when you send it back. That may only be in the US but on other forums that is the general consensus. I have purchased stuff from them in the past and they are good to work with.

Re: Weather protection
Can I infer from the PDF file that these parts are available for bikes up to 2013?

Re: Handle Bar Risers
I really liked my risers on the 2012 RT from Ilium Works. They looked like they were meant for the bike and not an add on. Im not smart enough to imagine any other way except what Ilium works has done but it looks a little odd to me. I feel like I need the extra riser so I guess Im just going to hav...

Handle Bar Risers
Has anyone had any experience with the Ilum Works handle bar risers on the 2014? They look a little odd but they are the only risers that I can find. Are there alternatives???
Thanks,
Bud

Re: Wunderlich Touring Screen for RTLC
Ive had VStream windshields from National Cycle on my last couple bikes. They are in testing for the 2014 and should be out soon. Im going with it since it has worked so well for me in the past. The Wunderlich looks very similar.

Re: Optional Extras
I just purchased a 2014. Ive had a Touratech Flat tank bag on my other RTs but the one made for the 2014 is small. What have you found that works well? Taking a big trip this summer around the western states. Having a tank bag for small things and a map top is very handy. Ann and I will be...
