Re: I am Screwless

Hi and welcome

I see from your signature that you have the 2103 model. They are very hard to get spares for yet😀😀

Good luck with your sourcing. Sounds like a challenge being where you are.👍

Re: insurace time again

I have used Bike Sure recently for three policies. Found them easy to deal with and very helpful.

Not always the cheapest though.

Re: Time for a bit of comfort

Welcome.

I find my seat uncomfortable after an hour or so and have invested in an AirRider . Worth the money

https://airrideronline.com/

Enjoy your new bike.

BTW - I have no connection to AirRider.

Re: Shaft Replacements

There are currently no recalls or quality enhancements outstanding on your bike. The shaft vent campaign has only been released on GS and GSAs so this wont be released on your...

Re: Tested cheap Chinese copy parts

Not in the businesses I worked for. The owner of the tools was the ones that commissioned their design, paid for their manufacture and bore the cost of maintaining them beyond everyday maintenance. The owners sold the finished product with an amortisation on each product for the cost of the tools. T...

Re: Tested cheap Chinese copy parts

What does appear to be happening is that in factories where products are made under licence, once a run has been finished some ‘extra ones’ are made and these are sold at a fraction of the price of the ‘branded’ product. The issue I have with that is that the very expensive tooling will be owned by...

Re: Tested cheap Chinese copy parts

Question. Is it moral to buy copied parts that companies have spent a lot of money developing?

Re: 2022 RT crash bar recommendations

I have Wunderlich bars. Look good. A bit fiddly to fit.
The only thing Ihave read about them is that the chroming is not too good. No issues so far though.
