Re: Menu system missing items under "vehicle" 2016 R1200RT

My R1250RT does not have those options and I don't remember my old 2015 RT LC having them either, that menu looks like it comes from my previous bike a K1600GT, it had driving left/right headlight and ground light options.  I've never seen these on an RT but maybe there are options I have n...

Re: Tyre replacement dilemma

Tyre threads are always fun, looking forward to the replies. I had PR4GT on my 2014, first set cupped. Then on advice from Michelin, they told me to run the front at 38 instead of 36   Running Roadtec01s on my K1300S as well as RT, first K1300S set OK, second set the front wore unevenly......

Re: HELP! Central Locking & basic operation of 2 button key fob

From memory and assuming it is the same as my 2015RT LC, press front (narrower) button to central lock everything, press front again to set alarm, press back (fatter) button once to disarm/un lock everything in one go...  Regards, Peter

Re: New Tyres please

I have never seen more than 5-6K out of rear PR4GTs on K1600/R1200/K1300S and the same more recently on Roadtec01s. I guess that eliminates the bike then:-) as some above say, it is a choice, I'm not mad but I like to "go" when out of the built up areas.  I am a lifetime PR2/3/4/4...

7k! Out of PR4GT's?  I think you should pay more attention to the standard of your riding rather than questioning which tyre brand compliments poor rider skills. Happy new year 👍

Not sure I get how to take this:-) are you suggesting 7K is a too much or a too little?  Peter

Re: 2019 Road trip Spain - Santander to Portbou and return

[size=16px][align=left]I did a similar trip a couple of years ago and used routes posted here http://www.ride.co.uk/routes as my starting points, very few "bum" roads in the trip.  They are all good roads compared to Berkshire:-) but memory the route through Andorra in from the E...

Re: Grips that you would suggest

In the UK I use Grip Puppies (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Grip-Puppy-Pup ... B005C1U8R2) on a K1300S and my R1200 RT LC too, they are cheap and easy to fit...  Peter
