Re: Coronavirus
You are being naive. This will kill more than Flu does every year. One expert from Kings College yesterday was estimating possibly 200k deaths in the UK alone. It could be a lot worse. With Flu a lot of the population has had the flu jab, so a lot do not get it. There is no protection to this virus...

Re: Coronavirus
I have posted in Northern Monkeys so i won't say too much on the Virus here.. but i do believe in my opinion, we are over reacting... statistically the nation has only 0,001 percent out of the 50 million inhabitants affected.. puts things into perspective. We are riders riding our bikes.. ...

Re: Northern Monkey meet.
Looks like we won't be going anywhere in a hurry. Plenty of time to learn how to use BaseCamp and plan some rides ready for when we get the all clear again. why? Let not panic. We are single riders in a small group enjoying rides.. we don't need to worry or have anything to worr...

Re: Northern Monkey meet.
I like the idea, i think i would prefer to ride more than stop...so if we stop for brunch, an hour is fine...further stops i think should be long enough for a a cuppa only to refresh and relieve oneself , so i think 15 mins to 30 max! be

Re: Impersonating a police officer
My opinion on this is simple.. WEAR clothing to be SEEN!! If the high vis is seen, great, and it is proven high vis are seen, so wear them.... I think its irrelevant how we perceive other bikers reasons for wearing POLITE high vis...as it's an individual thing. I would wear Polit...

I agree on both.. Own areas would be nice and much quicker for relevance finding if we had categories for the 1250. thanks

Curious question.
Just curious. It says this is a BMW RT 1200 / RT1250 forum. But I don’t see any categories for RT 1250. I know the bikes are similar but certainly not the same. Right?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Garmin Basecamp Very Difficult to Use
I went for a bimble and found the shaping point routing better than waypoint. I deliberately went off route and it recalculated me back on route with no problems. After all, that is what we want. Not to go back miles to the waypoint. Example of this was on Thursdays Raz...

Re: Garmin Basecamp Very Difficult to Use
How are you getting on with BaseCamp. Will a little help, a fellow Northern Monkey now thinks it's great. Can i say, David has done this Northern Monkey a great service and now routing on basecamp is not only easy, but also fun. I have been told so many times, and also on videos, basecamp...
