In 30 years I doubt anyone will be allowed to drive/ride anything due to ever increasing restrictions on everyday life,  so enjoy whilst you still can.  :shirty:

Test rides

Anyone noticed how M/cycle dealers increasingly are imposing age limits on test rides, I've been riding for 50 years, NEVER (it's true) had a prang, decades of 100% clean licence,  example,  Wolverhampton Motorrad wouldn't allow me a test ride on the demo RT because I'm over 70, ev...

Re: service costs

BMW Motorrad main dealer Wolverhampton,  2020 RT,  £220 for first annual service, just oil and filter !  £280 if you want brake fluid change as well. Total rip off.

Denali Soundbomb problem

My 3 month old BMW 1250 RT LE came to me with a Denali 120db Soundbomb horn neatly fitted in the steering head position, here's the prob' apparently affecting any BMW with the Canbus system,  here's a quote from A USA forum that describes what happens,  Quote,  " [siz...

Re: Shift cam 1250RT

I very rarely go above the UK posted speed limits so it'd be pointless changing either of my 1200's for a 1250. In fact, I get just as much pleasure from riding my 2011 Twin Cam as I do from riding my 2016 GS, Yes the GS is faster and more powerful, but speed's not the reason I bought either of the...
