Re: OCD cleaning...!
I will - thanks.
I was considering bars, but I think they're a bit 'heavy' looking.

The black rubber bung near the rear brake disc.
I managed to pull it out in its entirety the other day. What does it do?

And the OCD cleaning continues...! I took the pads out and cleaned up the rear wheel and calliper. I was impressed how easily the rear wheel came out. This is becoming slightly obsessive! http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/sullivj/1D277BFC-DC11-42D8-99C8-D76606A6D06B_zpswvzdajwe.jpg Re: OCD cle...

Re: OCD cleaning...!
So tonight, the cleaning continued with the sump, timing cover and final drive. Once cleaned, I'm coating these parts with ACF 50. I use it on all my bikes as it's an excellent corrosion inhibitor. http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/sullivj/74E8A8A3-34B1-4C6A-AF6B-29C0797909A4_zpsd4hcvvfa.jpg R...

Timing Cover, Cover. Is it removeable?
Can the black plastic cover on the front of the engine be removed with the exhaust in situ? It looks like it's only 2 bolts to remove it?

Re: OCD cleaning...!
I took the end can off, but the rest was done in situ, laying on the garage floor. I'm pleased how well it came up though. I'm trying to do the difficult cleaning jobs first... It's the sump next :-(
