Free motor cover and Autonational Rescue cover
Good morning all, :) Has anyone had any dealings with freemotorcover.co.uk? They "say" that they do the same as policies that we would normally pay about £30 for per policy. 1 x car and 2 x bike could save me £90 a year. Also on their site they recommend Autonational Rescue Breakdown. Has ...

Re: RoadSmart III Tires
You're not wrong there.
I had been told that thge "mark" indicated where the valve should be, i.e. lightest area of tyre.
I have had trouble convincing other tyre fitters that this is true. I was told that the mark means it's the outside of the tyre.
Where do they get their staff from????

Re: Carole Nash 6 wheel policy
Would you Adam and Eve it ?? Apart from showing that I didn't have pillion cover (very worrying), value was shown to be £18600 (?) and showed that it was modified. Their official answer was that there was a problem with the renewal "module" on the bike part of the policy and it doubled the...

Carole Nash 6 wheel policy
I've just had my renewal through for a 6-wheel policy with CN. Are they having a laugh??? Last year it was about £660, okay so I changed my bike in April from a 2014 RT to a new 2018 exactly the same model. They are asking £1100 for this year, same insurance company. Shopping around I have individua...

Re: Final drive bolt hole cover wanted.
M6 machine screw will fit. I tried a 20mm screw and it looked like I need to cut 10mm off.
So if you can get a 10mm bolt then that should be spot on.
Just need to find a black couple for my bike.
Or a spot of paint,

Drift Ghost S
Hello, Going for a Scottish tour at the end of the week and I find that the lens on my Drift Ghost S is broken. I oredered a replacement only to find it's for a GHost, not the S, and the lens is smaller. Does anyone have a spare "S" lens they can sell me or know of anywhere that has them i...

Guessed you would.
It's a truly fantastic bike that gets better the more you ride it.
Have fun.

Nick
Thanks for that. I'll pm you when I have some dates available.
Our daughter lives just south of Derby so that would reduce the journey somewhat.

Sports screen on 2018 RT
Hello, collected my replacement RT on April 1st (no jokes please) in beautiful Mars Red. I knew that it had the smaller "sports" screen and initially, apart from feeling more "wind" it was okay. We've just returned from Germany and both myself and SWMBO noticed uncomfortable amou...

Re: R1200RT Footpegs
Had problems with SWMBO twisting the rubber on the rear nearside pegs, just had to put up with it.
No p[roblems at all with my 2014 and 2018 front peg rubber.
